Midnight in Marseille
I released a song (I think back in 2023?) called "Midnight in Marseille" with my very dear friend Andrew Isbell who is currently based in Nashville. He reached out to me last week to let me know that a collegue he reconnected with in Atlanta has a friend in the sync liscening business who is looking to expand his catelog of songs to pitch to businesses for placements. Anyway, the song we did together has now been added to the batch of songs regularly being pitched, potentially along with a few other songs of mine. So ideally, the next big romcom or nature documentary on Netflix, or just some random sad shit...maybe it'll have a song of mine in it! (crossing my fingers anyway) This was good news last week

Tour
I just about finished booking my tour dates for a spring tour I'll be annocuncing soon as well. I still have just a few more to officially confirm, but this past week I locked in a few shows I'd been waiting to confirm for awhile and that was a very relieving feeling. I haven't played a show since December...and I haven't been out of town for a show since last summer. I'm long overdue to get back out there and share some stories, and after this past week, I'm several steps closer to making that happen.

John Cena Turned Heel
Any wrestling fans out there? Well, it's Wrestlemania season, and the unthinkable happened...John Cena, after 20+ years of being a good guy, has officially turned heel. (heel means "bad" in the wrestling world) This technically happened on Saturday March 1st, but all week I've been talking to friends, my older brother, and other fans about this tragic happening. It has brought me much joy.

Donuts
I consumed a red velvet donut this week. Shit was delicious.
