Today is my birthday! 🧡🎊😊 Last year was one of the greatest years of my life, and I know it’s because I swung back on fear harder than ever before. And now, I see how much you have to keep swinging every day to continue moving things forward. UNAFRAID was definitely the theme last year. I thank Christ for allowing me to go through that, and I thank all of you for being on that journey with me. But if I had to pick the biggest lesson I learned, it would be this—the things I desire to create in this life aren’t for me. Everything I thought I was doing for myself was actually meant to enrich other people’s lives in some way. And the most rewarding part wasn’t just being creative—it was seeing how my creativity served others. So this year, I’m still going for it creatively, but with an even stronger mindset of purpose. I know I was put here to create, and what I create matters because it helps others, maybe even changes their lives. Just like some of you reading this have changed mine by executing on your ideas—whether through art, music, conversation, writing, photos, video, or fashion. If there’s anything to take from my journey this past year, it’s this—your ideas are important. Not just because they bring you joy, but because they genuinely make the world a better place.
