In 2013, after a life of soul searching for purpose, i was able to look deep within and realize I didnt want to do anything but rap, on the worlds biggest stages. I always envisioned myself figuring out my own down this road, but little did i know lifehad a much different path in store for me. I spent the next couple of years quietly honing my art, recording wherever i could. Eventually i began to work with skip fearless, a producer that was in town for school but doing art whenever he wasnt in class, he booked Dirty Socks Studios, the home studio of UNAPOLOGETIC and invited me to come feature on the track. the first thing i saw when i walked in was a mad villainy vinyl on the wall. This was the first time I met other people that knew of MF DOOM this was an immediate indicator that i was amongst people that may love art and rap the way i do. The session went great, the equipment was more crisp than any i had recorded on, and hours felt like they had only been minutes. I left that night on a high after being around like minded artist for the first time. And then IMAKEMADBEATS uh.. he said what he says to most artist that come thru: youre more than welcome to come through, and keep coming around. I took him up on that opportunity, and began to book session, after session until i had recorded and put out a whole project. MAD then suggested i connect with kid maestro to help each other become better artist by working on countless songs.. little did i know i had begun the road to becoming apart of UNAPOLOGETIC as a full artist. Hours of bootcamp with Kid often at the hands of uncomfortable challenges aimed at promoting growth and self expression: how to be a star, evolved into learning musical and life lessons from the entire squad. And from there on countless good times, hard times, trials, pain, and fulfilling art got us to where we are now.
